What are your different sound solutions?

Techno-Sound offers several solutions. Each one corresponds to a specific context of use, specific
installation constraints and specific objectives.

Grand Totem: a decorative object and sound diffuser (via Bluetooth), ideal for medium-sized spaces. Its cover and graphics can be fully customised to reflect your brand identity. Dimensions: (160 cm × 85 cm). Power supply: mains.
Mini Totem: same technology, in a smaller format: 44cm × 25cm × 9 cm. Designed for more intimate spaces: suites, private lounges, boutiques. Fully customisable cover and graphic design. Power supply: mains.
Soundboard: customisable American case framing the canvas of your choice, broadcasting sound (via Bluetooth). Your visual, your photo, your graphic identity - all while being a sound source integrated into the decor. Power supply: mains.
Jardinière Sonore: outdoor design object combining plants and music (sound diffusion via Bluetooth). Designed for hotel and restaurant terraces and gardens. Finishes resistant to outdoor conditions. Power supply: mains.
Made-to-measure sound furniture: we design and manufacture pieces of furniture that directly incorporate our technology: tables, headboards, wardrobes, lighting, sofas, counters, massage tables. The furniture becomes a sound environment diffuser.
Acoustic surfaces (walls / ceilings): invisible integration of our technology into walls, partitions or ceilings. The entire surface diffuses sound. For use during renovation or new build projects. Ideal for providing sound in large spaces.
Underwater sound: a dedicated solution for swimming pools. Our equipment is integrated into the walls, transforming the pool into an auditorium.

How do I choose the right solution for my establishment?

Our technology can be used to add sound to tables, headboards, counters, shelves, benches, massage tables, dressing rooms, paintings, lighting, etc.

What is the quality of the sound obtained?

There are three questions to help you make your choice:

Are you in operation, with no work planned? Made-to-measure Totems, Mini Totems, Sound Boards, Sound Planters and Sound Furniture can be installed without the need for building work, drilling or sealing. It's the quickest way to enhance your sound environment.

Are you planning to renovate or build? This is the ideal situation for integrating sound systems into walls and ceilings. It's the most invisible solution, the most homogenous over large surfaces, and the most architecturally accomplished. Our technical team and sound engineer will support you throughout the project.

Do you have a terrace, rooftop, garden or courtyard? Custom-made Sound Planters or Sound Furniture are the best way to liven up your space.

How does your technology work? How is it different from a loudspeaker?

A conventional loudspeaker - wall-mounted, recessed in the ceiling or placed on the floor - always works on the same principle: a flexible membrane (paper, fabric or polymer cone) vibrates to project sound into the air from a precise point. It's a directional diffusion system, with areas covered to a greater or lesser extent depending on the position of the speakers.
Our technology makes the surface itself vibrate - the wood of a Totem, the top of a table, the wall of a wall. The whole object becomes a diffuser. The sound doesn't come from a single point: it emerges from the surface in its entirety and is distributed evenly throughout the space, without any cold zones or imposed directions.
The result is a continuous, balanced sound that is perceived as naturally present in the space - and not as projected from conventional audio equipment.

Is the sound quality comparable to a traditional audio installation?

Our approach is designed for living, reception and hospitality spaces, where sound must accompany the experience without dominating it. It produces homogenous coverage with no dead zones or saturation points, and a natural, enveloping sound - something that traditional systems cannot reproduce in this type of space.
For a hotel, restaurant, spa or boutique, homogeneity and invisibility are far more important criteria than power or directivity.

Can you make any surface or material sound good?

The vast majority of common materials are compatible: wood, glass, metal, composite, plaster and lightweight partitions. Each material has its own acoustic characteristics - our engineers analyse these during the initial diagnosis to ensure optimum performance.

Why do your solutions require so little maintenance?

This is a direct result of the operating principle - and a real advantage over traditional loudspeakers.
In a conventional loudspeaker, a flexible membrane constantly vibrates to produce sound. This membrane is subjected to mechanical stress each time it is used. Over time - and particularly in a professional context with intensive daily use - it becomes tired, deformed, cracked or torn. This is the main cause of sound degradation and breakdown in traditional audio systems.
In our solutions, there is no membrane in the traditional sense. It is the rigid surface of the object itself
- wood, metal, plate - which plays this role. These materials are stable and durable: they don't suffer the same mechanical wear as a flexible cone. So there are no fragile components to replace regularly.
Day-to-day: the objects in the collection and the sound furniture can be maintained like any other decorative object or piece of furniture. Installations integrated into walls or ceilings require no specific maintenance once installed.

What happens in the event of a technical problem?

Our team can be contacted for any incident. Initially, a diagnosis is carried out remotely - the majority of anomalies can be resolved without having to travel. If an on-site intervention is necessary, it is planned quickly so as not to disrupt your business.

Is major work required?

This depends on the solution chosen:
Totems, Sound Boards, Sound Planters No work required. Plugs into a standard socket, Bluetooth connection. Installation takes just a few hours.
Made-to-measure sound furniture Lightweight installation, no site required. The unit is delivered ready to use or assembled on site, depending on the format. Standard electrical connection.
Sound systems for walls or ceilings Work required. It can be installed during renovation or new build. Once installed: no visible traces, no maintenance.
Underwater sound The system can be integrated into the pool structure. Ideal when building or completely renovating a pool.

How long does installation take?

For an object from the collection or a piece of sound furniture delivered: just a few minutes. For integration in the walls or ceilings of a medium-sized space: 1 to 3 days. Each project is planned with you in advance to fit in with your schedule and minimise the impact on your business.

How is sound controlled on a day-to-day basis?

It's controlled exclusively via Bluetooth, from any smartphone or tablet. The connection works in exactly the same way as with a conventional Bluetooth speaker: once paired, you play your playlist from the streaming service of your choice (Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, etc.) and adjust the volume to your liking. No proprietary application is required.
